I needed a logo and I kind of had an astronaut vibe in my head for what wanted. What I didn’t want was something made by AI. It’s not that AI isn’t good for some things, it’s that I didn’t want to use artificial art for my blog which I’m keeping organic. No AI hate, it’s just a criteria I had.

After scrolling through dozens of helmets I found a few that stood out to me, and one of them struck all the right notes.

The best part is the artist, Pablo Stanley, has put this and a bunch of other art out there for anyone to use, CC0. Kind of incredible in this day and age. But he’s on to something in my estimation. The best parts of the internet are the free parts where people are putting their passion on display for the world to bask in, asking for nothing in return except maybe a name-drop or a one-time payment (if you feel like it, I did). Pablo is a fucking legend and you should explore his Transhumans collection (all free) and seek him out on social media.
